As an added service, we offer training and evaluation to seniors who have lost their license and need a letter to The Safety Division in order to be retested.

For individuals coming to the United States for the first time, we can help you get familiar with the laws and driving practices in California. In order to take driving lessons, you will need to obtain a driving permit. This is done simply by taking the written exam at your local DMV after having studied the Drivers Handbook. Seniors who have had their driving privilege suspended must obtain a Special Permit from the Safety Division. California does not recognize permits from out of state; you must get a California Permit. Once you have the permit, we are just a phone call away.

We will set up appointments for you, and the instructor will pick you up at your home or work. The appointments are 2 hours each, and we arrange them to suit your needs. Should you need to cancel an appointment, please do so 24 hours in advance. Our instructor needs that time to rebook the appointment time. Otherwise, they are losing valuable time and money. A cancellation fee of $35 will be charged if any lesson is cancelled without 24 hour's notice. If you are not sure how much time you will need, you can start with 2 hours, and the instructor will evaluate how you do. Then we can prorate the cost for additional hours.
